School Uniform

Children are required to wear the following items.

• Grey trousers or shorts / skirt / pinafore dress
• White polo shirt
• Dark blue sweatshirt / jumper or cardigan
• Black school shoes (if your child cannot tie laces please ensure they wear velcro or slip on shoes)

In the summer term a blue gingham dress is an optional alternative item.

It is optional for children to wear items with the school logo.

PE Kit: Children are required to come into school dressed in their PE kit on the days they have PE.

• Dark blue or white shorts
• Dark blue or black plain Joggers
• Dark blue or black plain leggings
• White t-shirt or polo shirt
• Dark blue sweatshirt / jumper or hoodie
• Pumps or trainers (if your child cannot tie laces please ensure they wear velcro pumps or trainers)
• Only plain or Farnworth Logo PE kit (no sports logos)

Reading records add book bags for EYFS and KS1

All children in EYFS and KS1 have a reading record and you are encouraged to buy a reading book bag. From the outset we like the children to take their book bags home each evening to read with parents. The reading records are provided to the children on an annual basis.

Water Bottles

Children need to bring a water bottle into school every day with fresh, still water in it.

Please put your child’s name on all items of uniform, shoes, PE kit, bags and water bottle. If you don’t label it, you may lose it!
