Vision Ambassadors

Vision Ambassadors

Our Vision Ambassadors are a team of Upper Key Stage Two pupils who make up our Vision Team. Their role is to support the staff, and visiting Church leaders, in ensuring that our school values are well and truly alive in all that we do – helping us to fully realise our Christian vision.

These children dedicate their time and efforts with great enthusiasm and commitment and are very active around school.

 Their duties include:

  • Planning and delivering half termly worship
  • Roles in worship led by staff
  • Sharing prayers at St Luke’s Church services
  • Monitoring Worship Walls to ensure they are up to date and show engagement with worship
  • Looking after the worship tables in the halls
  • Writing and sharing prayers in school
  • Facilitating various forms of prayer at break times, using the prayer baskets
  • Sharing special messages around school using activities, prayer cards and other creative approaches!
  • Monitoring and feeding back on the Worship blog to help us to continually improve and develop our worship offer
  • Managing their Vision Team Twitter account
  • Spreading awareness about global issues and how we can help
  • Serving as excellent role models to their peers

Supporting our Vision Ambassadors is a team of dedicated adults including representation from the church, school leadership and the teaching and TA teams.

Our Vision Ambassadors are always coming up with new ideas for how they can reach out in faith to their peers and to the local community, so watch this space!
